Schaeffer's SynShield™ OTR Plus SAE 5W-40 diesel oil is based on the same high-performance additive technology found in the SynShield® Durability Advantage 15W-40.
SynShield™ OTR Plus SAE 5W-40 exceeds the requirements for API heavy-duty diesel engine oil Service Categories: CK-4, CJ-4, CI-4, CI-4 Plus and older.
Blended into SynShield™ OTR Plus SAE 5W-40 are two proven frictional modifiers, Micron Moly®, a liquid soluble type of moly and Schaeffer’s own proprietary additive Penetro. These frictional modifiers prevent metal-to-metal contact and damaging frictional wear. You can expect:
